Garlic, Chilli and Peanut Sauce
So, my first attempt at anything like this!! Here goes nothing lol

So, after whisking it all up it looked even more like vomit haha!
Easy huh!? Now the cooking part *scary* book says cook until thick custard consistancy which it did pretty quickly

Enter jars, mark 2!
much easier than the tiny little bottle tops, all achieved without too much mess
There was a limited supply of the nice haxagonal jars so I had to go with a variety, however, it was nice to try some different types out. Just one last finishing touch before they go in the fridge

My lovely bottles arrived today so first off, they had to go in the oven
and of course, the most important aspect of anything - helper cat!
And here are my yummy ingredients:
After chopping that amount of chilli and garlic, I did, this evening, go and purchase some of the cheaters stuff so I never have to chop that much again!! All in the pan, this is what it looked like - vomit!!! (all be it, very red vomit!)
Then came the complete fail part of the operation! (there had to be at least one after all!) The sauce was so thick there was no way it was going in the tiny tops of my pretty little bottles - gah!
Luckily, HobbeyCraft saved the day!! (damn, I love having one round the corner!)
and voila!! Part one of my attempt to be a bit more useful!
We had some of this with our chinese for dinner tonight - it was actually pretty damn good, not bad for my first attempt!
